Poe is a smart person, and smart people understand that with success comes a target.

And no, I’m not talking about the store, though it may be nice to own a Target.

When you’re the best in the world, everybody is aiming to knock you down. That’s just as much as a truth in life as it is in sports, but it really manifests itself the most in the NFL.

Poe talked about the target on the Chiefs back recently, saying, “It’s hard every week just knowing that everybody that comes in is going to give us their best shot. Everybody wants to be the one to dethrone our unbeaten record.”

“We know coming in that we have to put our best foot forward because we know they will,” he said.
