Many people need their coffee to get up and going in the morning, and especially in the middle of the afternoon when things are starting to drag.  Here at Arrowhead Addict, we understand that for a Chiefs fan, coffee is simply not enough.

Here’s all that’s happening around Chiefs Kingdom today.

Welcome to The Fix.

–Much of the talk surrounding the Chiefs and the reason for their success in 2013 has centered around the team mentality of this group. They seem to play together and play for each other. According to Reid Ferrin of KCChiefs.com, cornerback Brandon Flowers believes the bond started early on:

"“We’ve created this bond that is built in us that won’t break,” Flowers said. “It started in training camp and it’s panning out with all of these hard wins. We’re finishing plays and just being a fourth-quarter team; it doesn’t do anything but get us better in the long run.”"

Part of the family feel of this team is the fact that each unit appears to trust each other. Dexter McCluster talked about that, per Ferrin’s report:

"“Those guys get us better, throughout the week,” McCluster said. “Those guys are tough. When we do have three-and-outs, we never flinch, because we know our defense is going to step up and make things happen.”"

–Will Brinson of CBSSports.com is obviously drinking the Chiefs’ Kool-Aid. In this article here, he argues that the Chiefs aren’t getting any respect.
