Chiefs vs. Raiders Updated Injury Report

The Kansas City Chiefs face the Oakland Raiders this weekend for the chance to go 6-0 on the 2013 regular season.

The Raiders head into this game with a 2-3 record, and they’re coming off a good 27-17  win over the San Diego Chargers.

There’s a lot on the line for both teams, and that’s not even considering the fact that they’re both in the same division and are bitter rivals.

At this point in the NFL season, players are undoubtedly dealing with bumps and bruises, and even though this has been a magical start for Kansas City, the Chiefs aren’t immune to injuries.

With that in mind, here’s the latest injury report out of Kansas City. This is from Friday mind you, so when more comes out closer to game day, we’ll update that here as well:

Make sure to check back periodically and especially on game day.

We’re gonna need flowers and Houston no doubt it’s painful watching another week go by without our #1 TE

    • Jim Harper

We are fine. Houston is probable which means he will start. If Flowers cannot go then Cooper will fill in just fine. This team plays as a unit and they pick each other up. That is why they are 5-0.

Great point on Cooper Jim. Kid has been doing one hell of a job, but all the same flowers is a great corner and Houston is making a run at defensive player of the year those are two guys you never want to see on the sideline especially with the hated raiders coming to town we need all the ammo we have to stop a bitter rival from getting their way

        • Jim Harper

I have the advantage of responding after the game has been played. Cooper again played lights out. This kid is going to be one of those rare finds who ends up being a pro bowler.

Couldn’t agree more Jim kids playing out of his mind right now and it’s exciting to watch. Hope we keep him a chief for life

Kelce “out”? Teicher at ESPN says he has been put on IR and is gone for the season.

    • Calchiefsfan

They announced that Kelce was put on IR on KCChiefs.com about 3 hours ago.

Should have been done weeks ago. Let Kelce heal and try again next year. Only issue I have why the delay in IRing and no WR or TE and the draft is looking poorer and poorer as the weeks go on.

      • Dfrey87

What’s your basis on this being a poor draft class? Injueies really? Wow that’s a horrible way to evaluate talent.

        • Danny W

No one has made a huge impact thus far have they? Am I missing something?

        • tm1946

I believe it is accepted that it takes 3 years to evaluate draft picks but…..but we can safely say only Fisher is playing with any regularity. That is not a sign of a lot of talent compared the roster.
So Wow, dfrey87, thanks for your input but the draftees are not contributing,
