Many people need their coffee to get up and going in the morning. Here at Arrowhead Addict, we understand that for a Chiefs fan, coffee is simply not enough.

Here’s all that’s happening around Chiefs Kingdom this morning.

Welcome to The Morning (Afternoon) Fix.

–Tight end Sean McGrath, aka “The Beard”, “The Bearded Wonder”, “The Bearded One”, ect., has been a hot-button topic around Chiefs Kingdom for the past week or so. McGrath has really stepped up with both Anthony Fasano and Travis Kelce battling injuries, and he’s quickly becoming somewhat of a fan favorite. Oh, he also has a tremendous beard.

McGrath on his beard, per Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star:

“Yeah, I know what Duck Dynasty is,” McGrath says. “I don’t watch it. But those guys have got some good looking beards on there.”

He goes on to talk about how he flaunts his beard:

“Girls with nice legs wear short shorts because they want to flaunt their legs,” McGrath said. “I’ve got something beautiful with this. Why not flaunt it, you know? Grow that thing out.”

No wonder this guy is a fan favorite already.

–Andy Benoit of MMQB put together a terrific piece on both the Chiefs and their next opponent, the Tennessee Titans, highlighting their defenses. Check it out.

–Finally, according to Reid Ferrin of KCChiefs.com, the Chiefs game with the Houston Texas on October 20th has been moved from 12:00 p.m CDT to 3:25 p.m. CDT. The game will be on CBS.  Adjust your DVR’s and tailgates accordingly.
