I’d be remised if I didn’t add the potential three time National Champion. A.J. McCarron may not jump off your screen. On the field, he’s the antithesis of Johnny Manziel. He’s not exciting but not exciting isn’t necessarily a bad thing. They play entirely different kinds of ball, but both have proven to work in college, McCarron’s even more so in the NFL. He’s got the size, he’s efficient, and perhaps his best quality is his leadership.

McCarron ended 2013 completing 67 percent of his passes for 2,933 yards with 30 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. After losing three offensive lineman, his starting tight-end and Eddie Lacy, this is McCarron’s year to show us what he’s made of. Is he another “game manager” like Brodie Croyle and Greg McElroy before him, or can he be a true playmaker?
