Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles may be a rising star carrying the football, but if he had his way, he’d be kicking the ball as well.

The All-Pro RB posted a pretty hilarious Vine of himself lamenting the fact that he is not a punter.

Charles is right. Punters have it pretty easy this time of year. While their teammates are running in the heat, slamming into each other and pushing heavily sleds around the field, the kickers are…well…standing around and kicking.

In the video, Charles points out that punters don’t have to go to meetings. I don’t know that that is necessarily true, but there are only so many plays a punter needs to learn.

Jamaal has released a couple of Vine videos so far during OTAs. I have to say, I like the more relaxed atmosphere at Arrowhead. I find it pretty hard to believe that any Chiefs player would be allowed to take video from “the inside” if Scott Pioli was still in town. Hell, if Scotty was still in the building, that clip likely would have ended with security tackling Jamaal and confiscating his phone.
