Before the Kansas City Chiefs traded multiple high draft picks for former San Francisco 49ers Qb Alex Smith, many Chiefs fans were hoping the team would select a QB in the 2013 NFL Draft.

That could still happen. If the Chiefs take Central Michigan LT Eric Fisher with the No. 1 overall pick.

In this Youtube video pointed out to me by one of the guys over at FanSided.com, Fisher throws a 55-yard bomb. This play happened while Fisher was in high school. It was his junior year and the play happened on a fake punt, in the MHSAA playoffs, against Birmingham Brother Rice .

Fisher drops the ball down as if he is getting ready to execute a punt. The he suddenly stands back up and lets the ball rip.

Fans of the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t seen a pass like this since Trent Green and Dick Vermeil were in town. I know everyone thinks the Chiefs are sure to select Luke Joeckel on Thursday but I think this video could give Fisher the edge. I may just have to send this to Chiefs GM John Dorsey. After all, having Fisher on the roster as an emergency QB could allow the Chiefs to have one more roster spot on game days.

I am not sure Fisher would be very mobile in the pocket but I bet he’d be hard to bring down.

What do you think, Addicts? Who has the better deep ball? Fisher or Matt Cassel?
