Good luck in Minny, Matt. Not a great QB, but at least a great teammate, etc.

When Kansas City and Denver play, no matter if it’s on Sunday in the morning, it will be Monday Night Football. That is all.

A phenomenal day to be a Chief!! Prior to Smith, I thought Donnie Avery was going to be our most impact signing for what he brings to the table and the fit into Reid’s system (a la Desean). I thought they were really going to chill through the weekend a little bit and see how the CB market shaped up. Well, turns out Dorsey likes to set the market!

This gives our d the more physically gifted prototypical cover corner to cover the longside of the field and taller receivers (Demetrius Thomas comes to mind) and keep Flowers at his more natural position of boundary corner (short side of field) who is typically a more aggressive and physical tackler with good coverage skills (Flowers is the prototypical boundary corner IMO) I know Smith isn’t there yet, as he is an ascending player with tons of physical ability and youth. With E. Thomas coaching him up and a better all-around defense around him (and Eric Berry behind him), this will prove to be an excellent signing!

Don’t forget to mention Al Harris from the GB packers will also be teaching them some new tricks. Now this is the kind of splash I want to see because it makes it a lil bit more interesting when it comes to competing with Denver for the AFC West IMO.

A trio of Thomas, Decker, and Welker is a nightmare for any D Coordinator to defend with Peyton at the helm. In a game of matchups, we need to have 4 really good corners against that look to have even the slightest chance

I agree and with Robinson, Flowers, Smith, Berry, Lewis, Menzie, Hussain, Elam, Brown etc… Should be interesting what the coaches can do with these Talented CB’s. Some more than others but the young ones like Brown, Menzie etc… have good upside to them IMO

Wow I am blown away with what Dorsey has done. Looking more and more like we will draft a tackle #1 overall. After that we can look to add an ILB. Maybe Teo will fall to the 3rd

  • Michael Shaw

I think we should go after James Harrison and move him to ILB!!!

  • Adrian Morales

I am so glad they are addresing the 2ndry we need help there keep arenas and menzie let everybody else go

I’m still trying to get over the fact that we let Dorsey go. He never even got to rush the qb, or play like a normal DT. Crennel’s system smothered Dorsey, he was a #4 pick in the draft for goodness sake, and he only got to play (normal) DT in his rookie season. Now going into the prime of his career, we let him go. First thing I don’t like about the new regime. I’m so so on Smith, but hoping he turns out to be great.

Would have really preferred Brent Grimes over Smith. But I will hope for the best as usual. Just seems like we overpaid for a barely above average cb yet again
