The Kansas City Chiefs made a free agent signing late Friday night when they locked up former Atlanta Falcons CB Dunta Robinson to a three-year contract.
But not only did the Chiefs find themselves a corner that could potentially start opposite CB Brandon Flowers, they also prevented Robinson from lining up opposite Dwayne Bowe.
According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, Robinson met with the Denver Broncos earlier in the day before deciding to sign with the Chiefs.

Haha! Eat it, Denver. Sure, you may have beat the Chiefs out for Peyton Manning but we beat YOU out for Dunta Robinson.
In all seriousness, the fact that the Chiefs were able to beat out another team for a free agent is not something KC fans are accustomed to. The fact that they prevented a division rival from filling a need, at least for now, is doubly impressive.
The Broncos do need hep at corner. Champ Bailey is no spring chicken and he got burned more than once in the playoffs by the Baltimore Ravens.
Looks like the Donkeys will have to keep looking.
