The 2013 NFL Hall of Fame class has been announced.

Here are the future inductees:

Larry Allen, Chris Carter, Jonathan Ogden, Bill Parcells, Warren Sapp, Curley Culp, Dave Robinson

That means former Kansas City Chiefs guard, Will Shields, did not make the cut this year. In my admittedly biased opinion, Shiefs deserved to be a first ballot guy. The fact that he has been passed over again, while guys like Jonathan Ogden (who has a nearly identical resume to Shields) and Chris Carter got in ahead of him. Shields will have his day but I think it is an insult to his play to make him wait.

The good news is that former Chiefs defensive lineman Curley Culp was elected at long last. Culp is 66 and is will be pretty cool to see him at the induction ceremony.
