Chiefs Hire Andy Heck As Offensive Line Coach, According To Reports

The Kansas City Chiefs have hired former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive line coach Andy Heck according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sport.

Heck will be making a lateral move to KC and will continue coaching the offensive line.

The Chiefs had previously interviewed former Miami Dolphins coach, Tony Sparano for this position.

      Yes, I believe so. Unless Reid’s still looking for Chilly to come on as an advisor. Haven’t seen much smoke to that fire as of late though.

    The Jags had a Top 10 run game four of the seven years Heck served as offensive line coach. He’ll be an asset in that department. Where it concerns pass protection…well…the Jags have always given up a ton of sacks. Most of that you can blame on Gabbert and a declining Garrard though.
    Overall, solid hire. Jamaal will love Heck.
