Chiefs’ Albert Supports Charles On Sideline

After a weekend filled with so much pain and confusion for Chiefs fans, I thought it would be nice to post something positive today.

Arrowhead Addict reader Amanda K. passed along this terrific snapshot of Branden Albert placing his arm around his friend and teammate, Jamaal Charles, during the National Anthem.

Charles was uniquely touched by the incident, as Ms. Perkins, the woman Jovan Belcher murdered, is his wife’s cousin. Charles and his wife introduced Ms. Perkins and Jovan.

There was a lot that was ugly this weekend but at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, there was also a lot of love.
