The Kansas City Chief are partly responsible for the death of Loren G. “Sam” Lickteig, or so his family would have you believe.

Mr. Lickteig passed away on November 14th due to complications from MS; however, his obituary states that there was another entity involved in causing his passing.

The Kansas City Chiefs.

The following was published in the Kansas City Star on November 18th, 2012:

"Loren G. “Sam” Lickteig passed away on Nov. 14, 2012 of complications from MS and heartbreaking disappointment caused by the Kansas City Chiefs football team. A celebration of life is set for Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. at Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 13000 Bennington Avenue, Grandview, MO, with a luncheon following in the church hall. Sam was born on Feb. 1, 1931 in Ottawa, KS, to Laura and Frank Lickteig."

Oh man.

Well, for one, you kind of have to admire the family for their sense of humor here. On one hand, this is really funny. On the other, it is really sad. You know things have gotten bad when people are so disgusted with your football team’s performance that they are taking shots at you in the obituaries of their loved ones.

Do you know anyone else who has decided to give up on life after watching the 2012 Chiefs?
