Chiefs Ready For A Monday Night Battle

The Chiefs are getting ready for a big Monday Night game tonight against the Pittsburg Steelers. They will be facing their former coach Todd Haley, now the Steelers offensive coordinator, who we found out yesterday has yet to be paid by the Chiefs after he was fired. Haley has said he won’t hold back on blowing the Chiefs out if he can.

I think the big thing to take out of this game is: will Romeo Crennel hold true to his word and bench players that turn the ball over? The Chiefs are -20 in turnover ratio, by far the highest of any team and on pace for a record setting year in that category. The Chiefs need to hold on to the ball to have any shot at winning tonight.

What do you think Addicts? Will Stanzi see some time if Cassel fumbles or throws an interception? Will Haley get revenge on his old team?

Ur probably right. For some reason no one wants to see the kid throw.

Does anyone want to see Cassel throw?

          tanney on IR

          Yeah! Yeah! Let’s see Tanney

I don’t think it’s that no one wants to see him throw, it’s that no one has much hope that he’s any good. When you are the clear #3 behind Matt Cassel and Brady Quinn that isn’t a good thing.

I really hope we get to see Stanzi play tonight. Even if it’s in garbage time. See what the kid has! Why else is he on our roster?

  • mannindemann

Yea see Cassel throw his self on the bench

  • tc-sting

The KC coach has lost legitimacy so threats and decisions are simply idle. Whether he enforces his own blind attempts at control or not is no longer relevant, because the coach himself is no longer relevant. This is what happens when a coach shy’s away from confrontation with his players, the media, and other coaches.

KC will lose badly tonight. Pit has too much to win for since they are going places. KC has nothing to win for and would hurt themselves if they do.

    Steelers 45. KC 9.

Cassel should just save Romeo the time and Bench himself. Lets see what Stanzi has the rest of the year. He may not be a #1 QB but we should surely find out if he can play at this level or if we need to find another bet to back up Barkley next year!
