Arrowhead Addict Wedding Open Thread

On a day with no Kansas City Chiefs football I decided I might as well get married.

There was a time that I thought I’d see a Chiefs Super Bowl win long before I ever decided to tie the knot but seeing as how things have been going since Joe Montana retired, I figured I’d better walk down the aisle now cause I could be waiting on the Chiefs forever. Tomorrow morning, the Mrs. and I will be off to Mexico for the week. We’ve got plenty of posts planned and you will be in good hands with the AA staff should any major news break.

This is your NFL open thread for the day. Feel free to jump in and talk some Chiefs football or talk about the games you are watching.

And if any of you veterans have any marriage advice, now is the time! See you guys next week.

By the way, sorry I can’t help with advice, never made the leap myself, I guess my best advice would be, don’t do it! Lol, jk jk!

Congratulations Patrick…I do have some advice, being married 16 years (and only 35 yo). A happy wife = a happy life, and lot’s of…well, you know ;) good luck and have a great trip! With this season going as it is, I can’t figure that the Chiefs would be in your mind at any time during the trip :/ and I’m sure the Mrs would appreciate that!

Congratulations Patrick, and best wishes for a happy life together. Veteran advice on Veterans day – whatever she is interested in or doing is VERY important, always listen, call or text frequently, and remember FLOWERS (not Brandon).

Congratulations Patrick to you and the new mrs. Best of luck to you both. Communication is key. You have to talk and not hold stuff in. Always remember to not make it personal and listen very, very carefully. And listen often!

    Congrats Paddy
My advice is if she misbehaves give her a rancid paddling. Don’t be afraid to use a belt or a garden hose. :-) Make a baby down in Mexico man and live it up.

    Congrats, Patrick!

My advice: The Chiefs have 20 game-days per year. Wear your colors proudly on game day. The other 345 days per year, the wife gets final veto power on what you wear because if you dress badly, it reflects upon her.

    May you rest in peace.
