Chiefs vs. Raiders: Final Predictions

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to salvage their season (or at least some respect) today when the Oakland Raiders come to town.

Records aside, this game is about the rivalry. The Raiders and Chiefs have both fallen on hard times but that never fails to take away the sizzle from these games.

Oakland has won five straight games at Arrowhead Stadium, a trend that the Chiefs need to put an end to today.

I don’t feel right picking the Raiders over the Chiefs but that is what I’m going to do again today. I said a few weeks ago that I was done picking the Chiefs to win until they showed me some evidence that they are capable of doing so. Thus far, that hasn’t really happened. In fact, in my estimation, the Chiefs have played just four quarters of decent football all season long.

The Chiefs are more than capable of beating the Raiders but being capable hasn’t stopped them from losing so far, so there is no reason to believe that will change today.
