Chiefs vs. Raiders: Picking The Game

John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE

The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Oakland Raiders this Sunday in a battle of the AFC West bottom-feeders.

Then again, the Raiders, even at 2-4, are just a game out of first place in the AFC West. The Chiefs, at 1-5, are miraculously only two games out.

Don’t thank me, thank the mediocre San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos.

But for the Raiders and Chiefs, talk of division championships is a bit premature. Right now, both of these teams are just trying to string together a couple of wins.

Thankfully for both teams, one of them is guaranteed to leave Arrowhead with an extra mark in the win column.

Who is going to be? Let’s take a look at what NFL experts around the web are saying.

ESPN:

Four of ESPN’s experts picked the Chiefs including Mort, Adam Shefter, Jaws and Mike Ditka. We like them all this week too!

The other eight ESPn experts picked the Raiders. As did the fans in the pick’em leagues.

Accuscore:

Accuscore also picked the Raiders but it is predicting a close game. The Raiders won in 52% of the simulations by an average score of 19.3 to 18.6. Three TDs appears to be the magic number here for the Chiefs.

CBS Sports:

Over at CBS Sports they are picking against the spread. The Chiefs are the dogs, getting 1.5. All eight experts took the Raiders.

NFL.com

The guys over at NFL.com are still high on the Chiefs. Three of the five experts picked KC to win it.

FanSided.com

The three-expert panel over at FanSided.com went 2-1 for the Raiders.
