Chiefs vs. Ravens: Injury Report

John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE

The Kansas City Chiefs released their Thursday injury report last night.

Let’s take a look at the damage:

Name Position Injury Wed. Thu. Fri. Game Status
Baldwin, Jon WR Hamstring DNP FP - -
Brown, Jalil DB Hamstring DNP DNP - -
Dorsey, Glenn DE Calf DNP DNP - -
Flowers, Brandon CB Heel DNP FP - -
Hillis, Peyton RB Ankle DNP DNP - -
Johnson, Derrick LB Groin DNP DNP - -
Lewis, Kendrick DB Shoulder/Non-Injury (Thursday) LP DNP - -
Lilja, Ryan G Back LP FP - -
Pitoitua, Ropati DE Elbow DNP DNP - -
Wylie, Devon WR Hamstring DNP DNP - -

Some good news here. WR Jon Baldwin went from not participating to fully participating in practice. The same goes for G/C Ryan Lilja and CB Brandon Flowers. Looks like Romeo Crennel may have just been giving a couple of his banged up players more time to rest.

Now on to the usual copious amounts of bad news. Jalil Brown, Glenn Gorsey, Derrick Johnson, Peyton Hillis, Kendrick Lewis, Ropati Pitoitua and Devon Wylie did not practice.

Not good at all.

Kendrick Lewis, however, was out for personal reasons which I am assuming had something to do with this tweet:

    They are all just embarrassed

Seems like some are just not wanting to play, that list is a bit peculiar. Funny, this is the first list I have looked at and really I do not care. Depressing really. I think about how much the injury list meant week one…how I logged on here and thought “^*%^&*&^*!!” and now I just don’t care.

what is the deal with devon wylie? worst hamstring injury ever?!

Dorsey goes down, Ropati Pitoitua steps in with a monster game including 2 sacks, giving me some hope and now he gets on the injury report.
