Kansas CIty Chiefs TE Kevin Boss is out for the season.
According to Adam Teicher of the KC Star, Boss will be moved to IR as doctors have told him they will not clear him to play for the rest of the season.
Boss suffered a serious blow to the head/neck area against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. It appears his condition is not improving and the experts are so concerned that he must sit the rest of the season.
This is bad news for the banged-up KC offense. Boss seemed like a great addition and was one of QB Matt Cassel’s favorite targets. The Chiefs still have Tony Moeaki but he has been largely ineffective this season, even since Boss went down.
Things appear to keep getting worse in Kansas City.
