The Kansas City Chiefs have released their game day inactives.
Here is the damage:
12 Stanzi, 19 Wylie, 23 Lewis, 40 Hillis, 64 Mattison, 72 Dorsey, 80 Boss
The big surprise here is that Glenn Dorsey will sit today. He was injured during this week’s practices. Dorsey is a key part of KC’s run defense. Dorsey has no primary backup on the Chiefs’ depth chart. Expect either Ropati Pitoitua or Allen Bailey to step in for him. Pitoitua has been seeing time in sub-packages though according to Pro Football Focus he has not been playing too well.
Also, NT Anthony Toribio will be active for the first time this season. First round draft pick Dontari Poe only played a handful of snaps last week so we will have to see if Toribio reclaims the starting sport he earned in training camp.
Kendrick Lewis will sit out once again. KC will also be without the services of Peyton Hillis and Kevin Boss. They will get Dwayne Bowe and Dexter McCluster.
What do you think, Addicts? Will the Chargers try to run to Dorsey’s side?
