Tysyn Hartman, jake oconnel, and Edgar jones would all be surprise makes for me.

Yeah I think Hartman and O’Connell are still goners. Some guys were saying Hartman is a good special teams player so that may be why he made it over Washington. Washington can’t tackle.

O’Connell. His blocking is ok but Maneri is better. I think once Tamba comes back he is the next to go.

I run an Atlanta Falcons blog over on the Bloguin network, GritsBlitz.com. Are you up for a Q&A about the game this coming week? If so e-mail me at gritsblitzblog at gmail.com.

Wanted Bellamy over O’Connell. Yeah for Eachus and Jones. Sad for Gordon as he really came on during the last half last year.

  • h sted

    they did 4 now

    My practice squad would be:

I’m with you on all of them but, would rather see a couple of guys in and Mims out. every time I watch Mims feet, which are slow, he concerns me. The others I’d like to see get a shot before Mims are WR Jamar Newsome and C Rob Bruggeman. There were a number of times this preseason that Newsome was open and the QB couldn’t hit him. At 6-1, with his ability to get open, he’s intriguing. Bruggeman would make a great option to Hudson in the event Hudson goes down. He’s looked good when he’s been in.

Yeah, I like Newsome too, but with Bellamy and Hemmingway already on the list I thought it might be WR overkill. Also, I actually was impressed at times with Patterson at C, especially since he played DL in college and is still learning the position.

Good point… I missed that one. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Patterson come back at some time in the future.

    Tanney made the IR!

Two things i noticed! kept five running backs!!! Could be incase cassel gets hurt or just plain sucks.and / or jamaal goes down again
..we would have to rely on quinn . so that means we are deffinately devoted to the run game..hmmmm. looking for a better q.b next draft?
Also, Amon Gordon was released. room for Shaun Smith? .na.I must he nutz o think that!!!!!

I was very pleased when the Chiefs picked up Bair. His forte in college was getting upfield and getting after the QB. with Romeo’s defence, I am surprised he is being retained at all. He has looked pretty lost to me while on the field.

    Tanney didn’t get cut!
