Hard Knocks, Highschool Style
I wanted to pass along some very cool content. It’s a unique behind-the-scenes look at “Hell Week” for one of the nation’s top high school football teams. It’s “Hard Knocks” with less Ochocinco and more school spirit, and it captures the intensity, struggle and all-out commitment of these young athletes. Coached by former University of Michigan running back and NCAA track champion Thomas Wilcher, Detroit’s Cass Tech football team is striving to restore the pride of their beleaguered city.
To show its support for all athletes who are putting in grueling days (and two-a-days) in the sun, Dick’s Sporting Goods is chronicling the inspiring story of the Cass Tech squad. As the defending state champions begin their quest for a repeat, we get a front-row seat for their early-season preparations, and we find out what it takes build a true team. Throughout the first couple episodes, we’ll see who’s the toughest guy in the room, and who’s earned themselves a dubious spot on “Midnight Crew.”
