Kendrick Lewis Clarification

Yesterday we told you Adam Teicher of the KC Star was reporting that Kendrick Lewis had his arm out of a sling and was back at practice.

Later Teicher clarified that Lewis was not practicing and was not dressed. We misinterpreted Teicher’s original tweets to mean Lewis was back on the field. We apologize for any confusion.

Lewis has not yet returned to practice and as far as we know there is not yet a timetable for his return.

This is really disappointing. Based on his first 2-years’ performance, I had high hopes for Lewis to turn into a “good” to “very good” FS. But his short career has been marred with incidental and more serious injuries. Looks like FS may be on the Chief’s wish list come next year’s draft.

This is just more nonsense that is coming out of nowhere. Two weeks ago Bowe was in KC and had signed his tender. NOT! Today it’s Lewis is in pads and practicing. NOT! Just more examples of sports writers not doing their jobs. It is the fans getting jobbed by incompetence.

    I’ll bet he’s out 6-8 weeks.
