Local Sam’s Club® Hosts Cornhusker and Chiefs Legend Neil Smith  

Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Famer to sign free autographs on Aug. 28

At the new south Lincoln Sam’s Club

 

Lincoln, NE (Aug. 7, 2012) – Sam’s Club and General Mills have announced that they will host a Member Appreciation event at the new south Lincoln Sam’s Club on Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 6-8 p.m.  As part of the day’s celebration, Nebraska Cornhusker and Kansas City Chief legend Neil Smith will meet with fans and sign free autographs.

The associates at the south Lincoln Sam’s Club look forward to serving the community with top of the line service all year long and are excited to hosting Smith at 8480 Andermatt in Lincoln.

An All-American player at Nebraska in 1987, Smith was the second overall pick in the 1988 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. In 1997, he joined the Denver Broncos and won a pair of Super Bowl rings. Smith was named to six Pro Bowls and was inducted to the Chiefs’ Hall of Fame in 2006.

Sam’s Club members and guests are welcomed and encouraged to visit the south Lincoln location at any time throughout the day.  Autographs are limited to one per person and are only guaranteed for the first 120 people in line.
