Tamba Hali is finally starting to get some respect.

The KC Chiefs pass rushing specialist checked in at #34 in the NFL’s Top 100 Players. The list is put together by NFL Network and the votes come from NFL players. Hali is the second Chiefs player to make the list. ILB Derrick Johnson came in at #78.

For Hali, moving up to #34 represents quite a jump. He was ranked #64 just a season ago.

I was mad at how low Hali was ranked last season but I feel like #34 is a lot more respectable. For some guys with not a ton of name recognition, I think it is more difficult to be ranked high. Hali will likely have to continue to string together another successful season to rise. I think one more high sack season and a playoff run by the Chiefs could just move him into the top 20.

I’m worried that Hali could be the last Chiefs player on the list. In 2011, Eric Berry, Brian Waters, Hali, Dwayne Bowe and Jamaal Charles all made the list. Charles ranked the highest at #33. Thanks to injuries and a down season by Bowe, KC players could be finished on this list.

What do you think, Addicts? Should any other Chiefs players make the list this year?
