Chiefs Shake Up Their Personnel Department
The Kansas City Chiefs are making a lot of changes on the field this offseason but they are shuffling things a bit off the field as well.
According to KCChiefs.com, the Chiefs have promoted a couple of guys and have hired a former Patriots personnel man.
Here is the info:
"The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that the club has made changes in its personnel department. Jim Nagy was promoted from regional scout to national scout. The club has hired former Patriots national scout Kyle O’Brien to serve as one of the team’s regional scouts. Additionally, Chiefs scouting assistant Ryne Nutt has been elevated to area scout."
These kind of moves might not seem that significant when we hear about them but it is very important Scott Pioli gets these hires and promotions right. A GM is only as good as the information he gets from his scouts. If the Chiefs are going to sustain long-term success, these types of moves will need to work out.
Good luck to gentleman.
