Derrick Johnson Makes NFL’s Top 100

The NFL is running down their top 100 players as voted on by the players and the first Kansas City Chief has made the list.

It is Derrick Johnson, coming in at #78.

Some fans might get mad that Johnson isn’t rated higher but I think 78 seems pretty fair. Remember, we’ve been watching him closely for years but he didn’t make his first Pro Bowl until this year. He’s always been a pretty good player but I think he is just now starting to realize his potential.

I think we’ve yet to see the best that Derrick Johnson has to offer. If I’m right, we could be in for a hell of a ride in 2012.

And DJ could be on a ride to a much higher number on this list.
