The Morning Fix: Chiefs News From Around The Web

John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE

1. Darren McFadden, Oakland: This was a tough choice between McFadden and Jamaal Charles. I went with McFadden because he played more last season and his foot injury was less serious than Charles’ knee injury. When healthy, McFadden is a game changer but he has to show durability.

2. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City: I think Charles will come back from his torn ACL. If he still has the same game-breaking speed, the Chiefs will be in great shape.

In fact, Baldwin would play more inside snaps than Breaston last year.

“It’s funny, a lot of people are always talking about me being a slot receiver, but my whole career, I’ve been outside,” Breaston clarified. “Last year was my first year that I even attempted at being the slot.

“Even when I was at Arizona, Q (Anquan Boldin) was mainly in the slot. I played opposite of Larry (Fitzgerald) outside.”

My dad, Rob Alberino, the Vice President of Media and Marketing asked me if I would like to come to work with him on Friday, May 4th. Of course I said “YES!” When I was asked to come, I thought it was going to be a lot of fun and a lot of messing around but then I realized what my dad does is both fun and work. It actually turned out to be more work than fun.

In the 65 Toss Power Trap edit suites and offices, we had to prepare for a full day. We then went down to the studio and shot videos for the fans. That was thrilling! Then, as the day continued, we went to meetings and I watched my dad with his coworkers as they worked on all kinds of cool things. They even decided the perfect music to be played at Arrowhead Stadium.
