Chiefs Love WR Michael Floyd, Says Report

The Chiefs continue to do their WR dance.

According to Jason La Canfora of NFL Network, the Kansas City Chiefs “love” Michael Floyd out of Notre Dame. He goes on to say that the Chiefs have quietly done a lot of work on wide receivers and that he doesn’t think Floyd will get past #11 or #12.

This is really interesting. Are the Chiefs really interested in Floyd or are they just trying to force Bowe to sign his franchise tender? There is a giant game of chess being played right now in the NFL and the media are but pawns of the GMs this time of year. Somebody let slip to Pro Football Talk that Dwayne Bowe might sign his tender because of worries that the Chiefs would take a WR in the first. Then Bowe’s camp countered and said via La Canfora himself, that they have no intention to sign the tender any time soon. Now someone is telling La Canfora the Chiefs are interested in Floyd, something we’ve never heard before?

Very fishy.
