Chiefs Meet With Guard Brandon Brooks

According to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com, the Kansas City Chiefs have met with a draft prospect by the name of Brandon Brooks, a guard out of Miami of Ohio.

Brooks was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine but wowed scouts at his Pro Day by running the 40 in 5.0. He stands at 6-6, 346.

His stock is on the rise and NFL Draft Scout currently projects him to go in the late second or early third round.

Good guards and centers can often be found in the early to middle rounds so it comes as no surprise the Chiefs are looking at options there. If they don’t end up with David DeCastro, they could still find offensive line depth later in the draft.
