Jerricho Cotchery Signs With Steelers

A few weeks ago it was reported that the Kansas City Chiefs were showing some interest in free agent WR Jerricho Cotchery but reports are now emerging that Cotchery has re-signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While I think Jerricho Cotchery would have been a nice addition to KC’s offense, this isn’t exactly a big loss. He’d be fighting for the fourth WR slot in KC and the Chiefs can likely find a receiver to fill a similar role in the draft.

I’ve felt for a while now that the Chiefs were pretty much finished making any major free agency moves until after the draft. It seems like the Chiefs are pretty content with what they did in the first couple of weeks of free agency. They’ll likely re-evaluate where their roster is at the end of April. At that time, they may make moves to plug any remaining holes/depth issues.

What do you think, Addicts? Should the Chiefs still be trying to sign free agents or are you ok with them waiting until after the draft?
