2012 NFL Draft: What Are Your Plans?

It is a slow day around AA today so I thought I’d drop a post to find out what you all are planning on doing for the 2012 NFL Draft.

The draft has been an incredibly popular event, so much so that thousands of fans line up outside Radio City Music Hall in New York City every year for a chance to sit in the building and watch.

Arrowhead Addict has been live at the draft for the last two years and it is always a blast, the first night in particular. The NFL usually rolls out a red carpet so that potential draft picks, current NFL players and even some stars from Hollywood and walk along and talk to the media.

Back in 2010, I snagged myself a spot at the end of the line and talked with Eric Berry for literally about thirty minutes before he was drafted by the Chiefs. I then was able to film his entire post-selection press conference.

Sitting on the floor at Radio City is fun because not only I get to give you all an inside perspective of what it is like to be there live, I’m also able to keep an eye on the Chiefs’ representatives. It is cool to watch live as they get the call from Scott Pioli and pick up the phone. We’re even usually able to get word to the fans on Arrowhead Addict that the pick is in faster than the guys on TV.

If I wasn’t working, I’d probably watch the draft from home with a case of beer and some wings.

How do you plan on watching the NFL Draft this year? Do you watch all the rounds or just round 1?
