The Kansas City Chiefs have struck in free agency again. The team has confirmed that they signed TE Kevin Boss to a contract. The deal is reportedly for three years and $9 million.

Boss had his best seasons playing with Eli Manning in New York. Just last season he signed a free agent deal with the Oakland Raiders. However, as part of Oakland’s great cap dump of 2012 he was sent back onto the free agent market. Boss joins CB Stanford Routt as the second Oakland cap casualty to join KC.

In other free agent news, Adam Teicher is reporting that RT Eric Winston’s meeting with KC wasn’t until this evening, so the fact that we haven’t heard anything yet is not a concern. Keep your fingers crossed!
