Chiefs Re-Sign Amon Gordon

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that they have re-signed my boy, “Big 99” Amon Gordon to a two-year contact.

Big 99 started stealing my heart last preseason with his overall effort and, well, bigness.

Gordon did a decent job all season in relief of Kelly Gregg at the NT position. He even got two sacks, which as we all know, only occurs on the Chiefs’ defensive line during leap years.

Gordon started two games last season and looked fairly serviceable most of the time. For a team seriously thin on NT depth, Gordon offers a solid backup option. Should the Chiefs not manage to find themselves a better NT in the draft or FA, Gordon could begin the season as the starter.
