Manning Rollercoaster Continues: Chiefs May Have New Life
Just when it looked like the Kansas City Chiefs had absolutely no chance of signing Peyton Manning, Yahoo’s Doug Farrar
"Just talked to a reliable source in KC — the Chiefs aren’t out of it either. Productive meetings between KC and Peyton’s people."
Farrar went on to say that the Chiefs have not talked to Manning himself, just his representatives.
I think it is safe to say that we just have no idea what is going on here. Manning sure seems to be focused on the Broncos and Cardinals but evidently his representatives are still talking to other teams. If that is the case, however, why hasn’t a visit been scheduled?
It may not look good for the Chiefs but I guess it isn’t over until it’s over.
