Demorrio Williams Lands In San Diego

John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE

Before the 2011 season, the Chiefs picked up free agent linebacker Brandon Siler, who left the San Diego Chargers. Unfortunately, Siler tore his achilles tendon in the preseason and was lost for the year. This offseason the Chiefs re-signed Siler and, just a few days ago, cut linebacker Demorrio Williams.

Now it looks like Williams is going to San Diego to play with the Chargers.

According to Adam Caplan of The Sideline View, Williams has signed a one-year deal with the Dolts Bolts.

Williams could help add some depth to the San Diego linebackers, but he probably isn’t a guy you want starting.

Regardless, it looks as though Chiefs fans will be seeing Williams next season after all.
