The 2012 Super Bowl is about to get underway. Or Super Bowl XLVI if you will.
We’ve got all the start time info for you so you don’t miss kickoff because you’re in the kitchen making nacho dip or something. After that, I’ll weigh in with my prediction for the game.
The game starts at 6 p.m. Eastern but the actual kickoff won’t happen until 6:29. So if you have one last beer run to make, I’d put 6 p.m. as the deadline for heading out.
The game will be on NBA but if for some reason you don’t have a television, you can watch the game online for the first time ever on NBCSports.com.
All right, let’s get on to the prediction part. Before the season started, I predicted the Green Bay Packers would repeat as Super Bowl champs with a win over the Baltimore Ravens. For awhile it looked like I might be right but as we learn every year, what we think in the preseason can sometimes seem ridiculous come the Super Bowl.
It’s a Patriots vs. Giants rematch this year. While I live in New York City and kind of want to support the Giants, the fact that Brian Waters is playing for the Patriots is making me a New England fan for the night. I have a lot of respect for Waters and I think with the big man looking out for Tom Brady this time around, the Patriots will get their revenge.
