Patriots Escape Ravens 23-20

The New England Patriots are champions of the AFC. They won the Lamar Hunt Trophy this afternoon and earned themselves a trip to Indianapolis for a chance at Super Bowl immortality.

The Ravens and Patriots went back and forth all day but in the end, it was former Chiefs kicker Billy Cundiff that decided things when he missed a 32-yard field goal that would have tied the game with just seconds to go.

The Patriots await the winner of the NFC Championship game to see whether they will face the San Fransisco 49ers or the New York Giants.

Congratulations to the Patriots.
