Ravens Beat Texans, Advance To AFC Championship

by Chiefs

Earlier today the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Houston Texans to move on to the AFC Championship where they will face the New England Patriots.

Wow. It is hard to believe the season is almost over. Any predictions on who represents the AFC in the Super Bowl?

I would like to see Baltimore advance but I'm not counting on it.

I think if the ravens can play their game and move the ball like they should on new england's defense they can keep Brady off the field long enough to win a close one.

and by their game I mean actually give Ray Rice the ball and let Flacco make high percentage throws off play action and screens.

I think it is Baltimore.... after all the talk, having the group think notion that you need a franchise QB to win in this league shoved down our throats, we are left with 3 out of 4 teams left known for their defense. I see a whole lot of franchise QBs sitting at home come super bowl Sunday. Offense gets the glory, but defense wins championships... I think it is proven again this year. The chiefs are built to win in THIS nfl, as well as the nfl 50 years ago. This being a Passing league may be spewed by the masses, and it may sell tickets, but a hardnose defense and a stellar run game will win this super bowl. I think Cassel can play better than Flacco or Smith, I think Jamal can be better than Gore or Rice, and I think after one more year with Romeo our defense can be just as stout. A little help from lady luck in the injury department and we have the pieces in place to compete for titles year in and year out.
