NFL Playoffs: Tony Gonzalez Remains Winless

Poor Tony G.

The Atlanta Falcons got curb stomped by the New York Giants today 24-2, knocking them out of the playoffs.

It was the same old story for former Chiefs TE and future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez. For a guy that seems like he’s done just about everything in his career, Gonzalez has never won a playoff game in his illustrious career.

Tony G just completed his 15th NFL season and has recently signed on with Atlanta to come back for a 16th. He had a bit of a resurgence this season, catching 80 balls for 875 yards and 7 TD’s.

Gonzalez had four receptions for 44 yards today in Atlanta’s loss.

If there is any guy in the NFL who deserves a break in the playoffs, it’s Tony G. Here’s hoping his 16th time is a charm.
