Kansas City Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop was named the Special Teams Player of the Week by the NFL today.

The Chiefs upset the undefeated Green Bay Packers on Sunday, and they could not have done it without a solid effort from Succop.

The Chiefs’ kicker nailed all four of his team’s field goal attempts and thus was responsible for 12 of KC’s 19 points. Succop’s most impressive kick came when he split the uprights on a 46-yard attempt, into a swirling wind after a high snap.

Succop has now hit 21-straight field goals, the longest active streak in the NFL. This is even more impressive considering the kicker struggled early in the season. He is now 22 of 25 on the season.

Congratulations to Succop!
