Romeo Crennel: I Would Like To Be A Head Coach Again

Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator and interim head coach Romeo Crennel has gone on the record saying he would indeed like to be a head coach again int he NFL.

From Josh Looney on Twitter:

#Chiefs Romeo Crennel: “I would like to be a head coach again and show I can get it done.”

This may not seem like a big deal but in my opinion it is. Crennel is announcing to the league that he wants to be a head coach again and that means that if he doesn’t land the job in KC, there is a good chance he won’t be back as defensive coordinator in 2012. Despite his poor run in Cleveland, I think Crennel is a very attractive head coaching candidate.

Crennel will get a brief three-game audition at the end of this season. How do you think he’ll do?
