Former Kansas City Chiefs DT Chester McGlockton died of an apparent heart attack last night at the age of 42.

McGlockton, a four-time Pro Bowler, was drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the 16th overall pick in 1992. After ending his career in Oakland, he spent time with the Chiefs, Broncos and Jets.

Chester was an assistant coach at Stanford for the last two seasons.

Our thoughts go out to Chester’s family and to his co-workers at Stanford. Rest in peace, big man.
