Chargers Pick Up Jared Gaither

The Kansas City Chiefs cut T Jared Gaither this week before he was ever given extended playing time in a regular season game.

Now he may get his chance but not in Kansas City.

The San Diego Chargers have claimed Gaither off of waivers. The Chargers are hurting at the tackle position, having just placed LT Marcus McNiell on injured reserve.

The Chiefs obviously got rid of Gaither for a reason. Now that he is a Charger, let’s hope it is because he is terrible.

Should he perform well in San Diego though, it will not reflect well on Scott Pioli and Todd Haley.
