The Morning Fix: Chiefs News From Around The Web

Sorry this is a bit late today folks. I ended up doing the Herm Edwards piece up above instead so this got rolled down in the priority list.

But here is your Morning Fix!

“He’s dangerous, especially one on one,” fullback Le’Ron McClain said. “I think he could make that guy miss probably 10 out of 10 times; he’s so quick. That one-on-one thing, just get him out in space, and he can do what he wants to do.”

“Ten turnovers in two weeks is great and that’s what you want in a defense that’s trying to catch up from the beginning of the season,” Johnson said. “It’s getting better for us. Things are turning around for us, but to compliment it we have to do it every week.”

“I’m knocking on wood right now hoping we can keep up this pace,” S Kendrick Lewis added. “We’re clicking on all cylinders right now as a defense.”

“I think for us the Dolphins are the challenge. This is a big physical group. They play a 3-4 defense and they’re strong in the middle and it’s going to be another physical game for us. They’re going to challenge us on the outside at times doubling our receivers and we’ve got to be able to run the ball efficiently – it always starts with the run game and then we’ll take our shots down the field.”
