Chiefs’ Derrick Johnson Named AFC Defensive Player Of The Week

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week by the NFL for his performance against the San Diego Chargers on Monday night.

Johnson was sensational for the second straight week, racking up 13 tackles, a sack and an interception. The honor comes a week after Johnson basically single-handedly stuffed the Raiders on four consecutive plays on the goal line.

Johnson has 57 tackles and an interception through seven games.

Congratulations to DJ.
