Chiefs Waive Jeremy Horne

The Kansas City Chiefs have waived WR Jeremy Horne, according to Aaron Wilson. 

The team has also placed FB and 7th-round draft pick Shane Bannon on their practice squad injured list.

Horne likely became expendable after the Chiefs got rookie WR Jonathan Baldwin back in a full time role.

KC now has Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston, Jon Baldwin, Keary Colbert, Terrance Copper and Jerheme Urban available at receiver.

By my count, this puts the KC active roster at 52. No word on who they will use to fill the extra spot.
