Chiefs’ Brandon Flowers Named NFL Defensive Player Of The Week

Kansas City Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers has been awarded the NFL Defensive Player of the Week award for his performance last week vs. the Oakland Raiders.

Flowers is the second Chiefs player to win an award of this kind this season. Kicker Ryan Succopp won the Special Teams Player of the Week award for his five-field goal performance against the Minnesota Vikings.

Flowers had two interceptions vs. the Raiders, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

Congratulations to Flowers. Well deserved.
