Kansas City Chiefs WR Jonathan Baldwin may not see the field Sunday, even though he is healthy.
Now, weeks later, Baldwin is has finally been cleared by team doctors to play. Yet Chiefs coach Todd Haley warned reporters this week that although Baldwin had the doctor’s approval that he might not necessarily get the coach’s.
“I don’t think it’s a lock that Jonathan will be active or not,” Haley told reporters Monday at his daily press conference. “Right now, I think we’ll go through this week and there are a lot of factors that will play into that decision and we need to do what we feel like gives us the best chance to win this Sunday with the roster on game day and we’ve got to prepare that way. We’ll see it plays out once we get going here.”
