Jonathan Baldwin Inactive vs. Colts

Jonathan Baldwin might be healthy enough to play but the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff must feel he is not ready.

Baldwin is not active for today’s game.

I think this is a pretty big mistake. I don’t think having Baldwin and his big frame available would hurt the Chiefs, especially once they get in the red zone. Unfortunately, Todd Haley must not agree. It is a numbers game getting the roster ready for Sunday but I just find it hard to believe they couldn’t find a slot for a 6-4 WR.

Sigh.

Baldwin will now have two weeks to practice with the team before the Chiefs take on the Raiders after the bye  week.

Jerheme Urban, Ricky Stanzi, Steve Maneri, Jerrell Powe, Brandon Bair and safety Reshard Langford.

Don’t get me started on Stanzi and Powe either. =)
